LapSurgical's Multiple Instrument Guide (MIG)
- May be inserted through a standard 10mm laparoscopic port
- Only tool on the market that is adaptable for both transcystic and choledochotomy approaches
- Three lumens 3.4mm, 2.0mm, and 2.0mm
- Choledochoscope and multiple tools are deployed via MIG through a single laparoscopic port site (the epigastric port)
- Facilitates use of several tools simultaneously (e.g. balloon catheter, lithotripter, and stone basket), with real-time video viewing through choledochoscope
- Prevents damage to fragile choledochoscope, reducing the incidence of scope damage from 50% to only 5% (result of regular MIG use at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, NM)
- Disposable single use instrument for sale to surgeons, hospitals, and surgical centers
General surgeons may request an informational packet containing an 8 minute video CD manual for laparoscopic common bile duct exploration with the Multiple Instrument Guide, as well as LSS brochures, price list, introduction letter, medical article excerpts, LapSurgical Systems rolodex card, and a preference card containing equipment requirements and billing codes.
